Sony is marketing its new W830 as a “value” camera—and it’s easy to see why. Not only does it offer a small price in a tiny body, but it sports a 20-megapixel CCD sensor, 8x Carl Zeiss optical zoom, f3.3-6.3, BIONZ processor, 2.7-inch LCD, and a ton of creative features that are common in today’s camera (and smartphone) market. Coupled with Optical SteadyShot technology—you know, to minimize camera shake in photos and video—and you have a pretty solid option to include with your smartphone—no matter if it’s an iPhone 5s or Lumia 1020.

The W830 is also capable of recording videos of up to 720p HD quality at 30fps and will feature a 2.7” LCD display. The camera will also come a host of filters built into it that will allow photographers to make some quick and creative edits to their photos through the camera itself.
