If you’ve watched mission impossible, you would notice how they use 3D mask on every sequel they make. Well guess what? It’s finally a reality with eerily detailed 3D selfies at CES.

The Bellus3D Face Camera is a mobile device that makes shockingly accurate, full 3D scans of faces. It’s a device that clips on to the top of an Android tablet or smartphone, and it can make a realistic, high-resolution image of a person’s face in seconds.

It works through a combination of two 1.2 megapixel IR sensors, a 1.2 megapixel color sensor, two IR laser projectors, and a front-facing camera on the tablet (used to help color the final scan)
