Going to Cebu for the Sinulog Festival? Download the Sinulog Guide Android app.
The Sinulog Guide is a handy guide developed by Cebu-based startup InnoPub Media in cooperation with Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart). The app contains the history behind the Sinulog festival and the Cebuano culture as well as list of activities and schedule.
While most hotels and pension houses are booked for the weekend, the Sinulog Guide app indicates establishments that do not accept reservations, but accept walk-in guests.
The app will also show where establishments like restaurants or consulates are through global positioning system or GPS by tapping the “check location” link.
The guide also has a list of the festival’s official activities and a directory of consulates, hospitals, transportation companies and emergency units.
It also features a complete list of Department of Tourism-accredited tour guides and tour operators.
